Ann E. Freeburn

Ann Elizabeth Black Freeburn, 61, entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2019. She was born on April 3, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Atlanta, GA to Judith Goethe Black and the late Sampson Black.

After Ann graduated high school, she received her bachelor’s degree in management science from Georgia Tech and later enlisted in the United States Navy and served six years. She was stay at home mother to three children. She loved gourmet cooking, combing the beaches for sea glass, spending time with her children and granddaughter, Emilia. Ann was a master of crossword puzzles, sudoku and Scrabble.

Besides father, Ann was predeceased by her sister, Lynn Lynch.

Ann leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Kelly Freeburn Carrara, Jullian Freeburn Rice (Joseph); Clinton Gregory Freeburn; mother, Judith Goethe Black; siblings, Bo Black, Jana Paulk; grandchildren, Emilia Josephine Rice, Brynn Ann-Elizabeth Rice; ex-husband, Gregory Harold Freeburn and a host of other relatives and friends.
