Antoinette Perry Obituary

Antoinette J. Perry (Toni) 75, of Norfolk, VA, slipped quietly from this world, to reunite with members of her beloved family and cherished friends, in God's beautiful garden.
Toni was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 21, 1944. She was raised in Detroit, MI and graduated from Roseville High School in 1962. She was a small business owner and bookkeeper. However, her most important and respected lifework, was as a Mother.

She wore many hats throughout her life, and enjoyed several storied adventures. She had various interests, hobbies, and passions. She loved art, especially sculpting and drawing. Her favorite pastime was gardening, always lavishing her special flowers with loving attention.
She was bold and vivacious, even when life was daunting. She had a sarcastic wit, paired with an exuberant sense of humor. She was a true optimist, and chose to see the good in everything. She was strong and gracious, beautiful and compassionate. Strangers were merely friends, she hadn't yet met. Her smile could light up a room, and made her gorgeous green eyes sparkle that much more. This world will be a little less bright without her.
Toni was predeceased by her parents, Anthony & Roseann; brother, George; son, Michael; and husband, Dennis.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle, Nicci, and Kori; two wonderful grandchildren, Ryan and Brianna; one precious great granddaughter, Joie; as well as other treasured family members and friends. Although her absence leaves them heartbroken, they find solace in the knowledge that her spirit now rests in God's glorious Kingdom. Memories of a life gracefully lived, comfort them.

A private celebration of life ceremony will be held June 29, 2019.
The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or National Breast Cancer Foundation, in her memory.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
