Cynthia Freeman Obituary

Cynthia Jean Freeman, 65, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend departed this life on August 11, 2018 in Virginia Beach VA. She was predeceased by her parents, Opal and Issic West.

Cynthia was born June 26, 1953 to the late Issic and Opal West in San Diego, CA. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, San Diego and received her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Tidewater Community College in 2016.

Cynthia worked as a Special Education Teacher Assistant. She was named as Teacher Assistant of the Year for 2 years. Cynthia enjoyed teaching and helping others.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Dennis R. Freeman, Jr., Kimberley N. Freeman and Tiffany E. Freeman; three siblings, Robert West (Rhett), Sandra Harris and Theresa West; four grandchildren, Jocelyn Shufelt, Dominq N. Freeman, Israel S. Freeman and Jayden Andulson; special friends, Windsor Woods Staff; and a host of other relatives and friends.
