Edward Bluitt, 55, departed this earthly life on August 28, 2018 to his heavenly reward. He was born June 24, 1963 to Dorothy J. Wood and Edward Taylor in Dallas, Texas. He was predeceased by his adoptive grandparents, Rev. Alford and Baby L. Bluitt; two aunts, Freddie Pyburns and Barbara Craddock; three uncles, William E. Davis, Ollie R. Pyburns and Henry J. Bluitt.

Edward is survived by his three siblings, Antronette Davis, Tommie Fay Wood and Raymond J. Wood; caregiver for 32 years/uncle/brother, Rev. Dr. James H. Bluitt (Narcissa); uncle/brother, Elijah E. Bluitt (Janell); one niece, Romona Harris (Weldon); four nephews, Reginald Tims (Mishlyn), Uland Tims (Fay), James Bluitt, Jr. and Christopher Bluitt (Keneathia); four aunts, Pearl Temple (JD), Anna Bell-Cherry, Katherine Jamison (Robert) and Hellen Bluitt; two uncles, Hugo and Anthony Cason; and a host of other relatives and friends.
