Ethel Munden Morgan

Ethel Munden Morgan, 96, passed away May 10th with family by her side.  She was born April 22, 1922 in the Munden section of Virginia Beach and was the daughter of the late W. Colbert Munden Sr. and Lelia Lamb Munden. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years Alfred Morgan Sr.  Ethel owned a catering service and was a former employee of Happy Days Nursery and First Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach.

She is survived by six children: Barbara Robinson, Alferette Gregory, Alfred Morgan Jr. (Gloria), Sandra Morgan, Iris Womack (Jerry), and M. Guy Morgan (Tonya); a brother, Forrest H. Munden Sr. (Gloria); a sister Lynda M. Harold (Fred); 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on 5-7pm, Tuesday at Beach Funeral Services.  Her body will lay in repose at New Jerusalem COGIC 118 Bishop Thoroughgood Avenue Virginia Beach from 9-10:30am, Wednesday followed by a service celebrating her life at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the building fund of Mount Olive Baptist Church, 310 N. Birdneck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 in her memory.
