James Frank Walker, 70, passed away Sept. 25, 2018. He was born Nov. 4, 1947 to the late William Leroy Walker and Melba Adams Walker in Dade City, FL. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Lee Holt.
James was a graduate of Florida A&M University with a BS in Business Administration and also attended Old Dominion University. He served in the US Navy from 1973-1982 and received several medals during his service. He was employed with the Virginia Beach Public School system as a Special Education teacher and Student Support Specialist. He was a member of Unity Church of Tidewater.
He is survived by his wife, Caretha R. Walker; one daughter, Adrienne Hall (Tyrone); two sons, James Andrew Walker and Joshua Harvey Frank Walker (Tehane); one brother, Leroy Walker (Patricia); grandchildren, Eden Hall, Shiloh Walker, Londyn Hall and Kamaunukilakila Walker; two aunts, Louise White and Alice Trueblood; sister-in-law, Marvita Davis (James Levi); brothers-in-law, Harvey Richardson (Deborah), Levi Richardson (Thereasa) and Adrian Richardson (Cynthia); and many cousins and friends.
