Mr. James Davis Gainey, 86, of Portsmouth, VA, formerly of Elizabethtown, NC, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Kempsville Rehab Center in Virginia Beach, VA.

Visitation/Viewing: Family will receive friends at Johnson's Funeral Service, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 3-7pm, and on Wednesday, February, 6, 2019, from 11am-12pm.

Funeral: Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 12pm, at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel, on the facilities of Johnson's Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Burial: Graham Chapel Cemetery, 458 East Arcadia Rd., Reigelwood, NC
