James Henry Tyler, Jr.

James Henry Tyler, Jr., 44, quietly transitioned into eternal rest on August 4, 2018 at his home.  He was born December 22, 1973 to Florence Tyler and the late James Henry Tyler, Sr. in Virginia Beach, VA. 

James was a graduate of First Colonial High School, Virginia Beach. He also attended Keys Business College and Tidewater Community College where he majored in Business Administration.

James was previously employed with Rent-A-Center for 10 years as a manager.  He was recently employed by Tmobile as an Account Rep for 2 years.  He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Virginia Beach where he served on the Male Usher Board.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling and working with computers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 10 years, Jonette Keys-Tyler; daughter, Ivy Cleveland (Lee, II); mother, Florence Tyler; two brothers, Carlton Tyler and George; two grandchildren, Lee Cleveland III and Aniela Cleveland; uncle, Thaddeus Ashley; cousins, Donald and Daniel Rhodes, Kenny and David Pearson, Dennis Gregory I, Dennis Gregory II and Greg Corprew; special friends, Dr. Steve Vinson, Mother Vivian Malbon, Ronald Malbon, Angelia Abadeey and Aunt Shirley Cherry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
