Jerry Robert Evans

Jesus Christ ordered one of his Marines, Jerry Robert Evans to regroup in Heaven on 29 July 2018. Jerry was .born September 25, 1942 to the late Arnold and Martha Evans in Williamsburg, KY.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Wayne, Harold and Glenn. 

He was a member of the Operating Engineers and worked on many projects. As a United States Marine, he was deployed to Vietnam and later served as a marksmanship instructor at Quantico.

He is survived by two daughters, Amber and Amy, along with wonderful grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth.

He will be laid to rest beside his father and mother. The family is eternally grateful to the Cardiovascular ICU and Palliative Care personnel of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for their kindness
