Joseph Hoggard Obituary

Joseph Hoggard, 85, passed away February 7, 2018. He was born Aug. 15, 1932 to the late Mable V. and Alfred Hoggard in Princess Anne County, VA. He was predeceased by a son, Calvin Hoggard.

Joseph was educated in the Virginia Beach Public School system. He worked as a professional truck driver and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, VB. In his leisure time, Joseph enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mamie Hoggard; two daughters, Shirley Hoggard and Deborah Grimes (Horace); one son, Edward Hoggard (Sharon); 4 siblings; 7 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
