Julia Owens Obituary

Julia Anne Owens, 95, passed away May 21, 2018. She was born December 13, 1922 to the late Jennie Harris Gatlin and Charlie Gatlin in Princess Anne County, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Owens and a son, Alan Owens.

Julia was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. She was also a homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memory, five sons, Eugene Gatlin, Marvin Owens (Pamela), Cornell Owens, Gerald Owens and George Owens; and a host of other relatives and friends.
