“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
A Time to Be Born …
Lisa Charrise Williams, a beloved child, was born to the late Ernestine Wright and Michael Gelzer on May 30, 1970 in Newark, New Jersey.
A Time to Love …
Lisa was blessed to have three loving children: Scott Jr., Sean, and Sharice through her union with Scott Williams Sr. Lisa loved deeply and gave generously of herself to her family, friends and service to others.
A Time for Every Purpose Under Heaven …
A true believer of God, Lisa lived her life following his principle. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Lisa was a devoted mother, daughter, and friend who has always put the needs of her family and others first.
Lisa was a loving, warm hearted, compassionate person who truly loved helping and taking care of people. With these qualities, her chosen profession as a nurse came without contemplation. Lisa was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 23 years. She was employed with Sentara Healthcare.
Her favorite pastime was bowling, where she was a member of the United States Bowling Congress-Charles Pete League.
A Time to Mourn…
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her sons; Scott Franklin Williams Jr. and Sean Foster Williams; her daughter, Sharice Lorrae Williams, all of Virginia Beach, VA; Scott Williams Sr. of Garner, NC, an aunt, Anita Jennings of New York, NY; and a host of relatives and a parade of friends.
We thank God for the life of Lisa Charisse Williams and bow in humble submission to the will of God.
