Lynne Denise (Harkins) Williams

Denise Lynne Williams, 70, of York County, VA, left this earth on Saturday, July 21, 2018 to join her heavenly father.  She was born April 9, 1948 to the late Loraine Owen Harkins and John Harkins in Hempstead, New York, and lived in Valley Stream.  She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Lee Williams.

She loved family, and always looked forward to any calls and visits from them.  She was a member of Grafton Baptist Church in York County until approximately 2009, and then attended York Minster Presbyterian Church the following two years.  She also was a member of the life-long learning center at CNU, and was taking classes such as Yoga, Spanish, and French.  She was a 20 year survivor of breast cancer. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Gregory Williams; her daughter-in-law April Vasser; her granddaughter, Autumn Williams; her siblings, Darlene Aimetti and David Harkins; her brother-in-law, Cliff Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
