Ransom Diggs Obituary
Ransom Diggs, 85, passed away July 10, 2018. He was born November 7, 1932 to the late Aurelia and William Diggs in Rembert, SC.
He served in the US Army for 7 years and graduated from Culinary Arts school, he pursued a career as Head Chef at NAS Oceana Officers Club until his retirement. He then pursued a second career with the City of Virginia Beach for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Diggs; three daughters, Patricia Scutchings, Sabrina McCrae (James) and Lisa Smith; one sister, Annie Lee McCoy; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
