Sherman Leon Wiggins, III, 20 years young, born on July 30, 1999 was called by the Lord to come home on October 29, 2019.
Sherman was known as “Tre” by his family and “Sherm”, “Big Sherm” or “Shermie” by his friends and work family. He was born and raised in the 757 (Virginia Beach). He graduated from Landstown High School in 2017 and was a linebacker on the football team. Sherman was also active in the community by serving as a lead member at the Boys and Girls Club during his junior and senior years where he played basketball as well.
Sherman was employed at the Jump Trampoline Park and was an Assistant Mechanic at One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. During his time with One Hour, Sherman was recognized for his many achievements and was quickly promoted to Lead Mechanic in less than a year, was voted Employee of the Month, and was selected by management for a trip to Cancun, Mexico. He was highly regarded by his teammates and friends for his professionalism and kind spirit.
In Sherman’s free time he enjoyed shopping for the finer things in life. He loved gaming, spending time with his family and friends and ordering Uber Eats. Sherman liked going to the gym, cracking jokes and listening to music. He was known for his hard work ethic, positive energy and vibes and his goofy spirit. He was never seen without a smile upon his face which would always make you smile back. Sherman was loved deeply by many and made a positive impact on everyone that he came into contact with. He was truly an amazing man.
Sherman is survived by his parents Sherman Wiggins Jr. and Maria Corprew-Jones; siblings, Tinisha Crandall (Clifton), Nicholas Whitaker, Sharon Hynes, Dominique Lassiter, Briana Corprew, Jadaka Corprew, Tatyana Wiggins; grandparents, Audrey Corprew, Gloria Lynch (William Lynch); nieces and nephews, Jaiana, Jamaya, Jahlil, Aiden, Reminisse and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
