Tremayne Eugene Cuffee

Tre Cuffee, 37 of Norfolk, VA transitioned on March 9, 2019.  He was born in Portsmouth, VA to Steven Cuffee and Juanita Marable.  He was educated in the Virginia Beach Public school system, then went on to receive his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach.

In 2002, Tre and Ari were united in blissful matrimony at New St. John AME Church in Virginia Beach, VA. They have four amazing children, Tremayne, Aaliyah, Mia, and Malachi.

Mr. Cuffee was an Assistant Team Leader at the bakery in the Whole Foods Market in Va. Beach where he was employed for 6 1/2years. Tre was an active partner of the Mount Church in Chesapeake, VA where he served on the Security Ministry.  He was a volunteer leader of the Recharge Youth Ministry and for the CAST program. He also volunteered with the annual Thanksgiving basket distribution, Youth Issahar Volunteer Bike giveaways, and the Back to School Community events.

Tre's love for music sparked his second career as a Disk Jockey (DJ). He was a new business owner of "Trust the Chef Entertainment". DJ "Cheffin Tre" provided musical entertainment for weddings, parties, and other events.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his beloved wife, Ari Cuffee; his sons, Tremayne, Malachi; daughters, Aaliyah, Mia; parents, Steven A. Cuffee Sr. (Selina), Juanita Marable (Vernon); one brother, Steven A. Cuffee Jr. (Tracey); sister, Emma Cuffee; in-laws, Poindexter Lewis (Patricia), Charles Alston (April); Bryant Allen (Toni) and a host of other relatives and friends.
