Brenda Darlene (Knox) Smith

Brenda D. Smith was born Dec. 16, 1956, to the late Willie L. Knox Sr. and the late Viola Olivia Knox. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Willie Knox Jr; Robert Knox; Shelton Knox; Barry Knox. She was a graduate of the Virginia Beach Public Schools System.

Brenda was a former member of Union Baptist Church, where she was an active choir member. Brenda was well liked by many for her kindheartedness and loving spirit. She was very bossy and always wanted things her way. She enjoyed living life, dancing, singing, and just having fun. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Brenda loved the Lord, enjoyed church, and would attend the services until her health began to decline.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories five sisters, Sandra James; Patricia Knox; Gail Moore; Carolyn Jarmon; Sharon K. Perkins; one brother, Garry Knox (Denise) of Clinton Maryland; Former husband, Warren Smith; two aunts, Katherine Watson; Shirley Nawabaroche. She leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Brenda enjoyed many close friends, Jeanette Smith and Maurice Dozier.
