Christian Anthony Etheridge

Christian A. Etheridge, 51, entered into eternal rest February 8, 2020. He was born December 23, 1968 to Clarence and Dorothy Dancy, in Washington, DC. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Lula May Etheridge; and his aunt, Annie Wilson.

Christian was educated in the Norfolk Public School system and attended Maury High School. He was a big sports fan and loved watching the Georgetown University Bulldogs, as well as the Green Bay Packers. In addition to watching sports Christian loved watching good movies. On October 9, 1998 he welcomed a beautiful daughter Crystal, who was the most important part of his life. He was also an amazing father to his stepchildren Morgan Harrison and Vincent McMiller. Chris was a caring person, devoted father, friend, and an extraordinary cook. He enjoyed firing up the grill and serving everyone he loved. Chris touched many lives through his generosity and kind spirit. He was our "Gentle Giant". His legacy will forever be cherished in the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three children, Crystal Etheridge, Morgan Harrison, and Vincent McMiller; two grandchildren, Dayon and Vincent McMiller Jr.; parents, Clarence Conover and Dorothy Dancy; siblings, James and Gabrielle Dancy; and a host of other family and friends.
