God called our beloved Christine Waller home on January 23, 2020. She was affectionately known as Chris to her family and close friends. Christine was born on July 22, 1959 in Virginia Beach, VA to the late Joe Louis Waller and Elizabeth Waller. She was educated in the Virginia Beach Public School System and graduated from the Frank W. Cox High School. Christine worked for 25 years as a laundry Aide for the First Colonial Inn Senior Living Community in Virginia Beach. She was very devoted to her job. Christine loved fishing, crabbing, dancing, reading her Bible, creating needle point, cooking for her grandchildren and following the Redskins.
Christine leaves to cherish her memory her children, Cylester Lee James, Christopher Leon Spellman, Hollimon JG Waller; grandchildren, Nazir Spellman, Sanaa Auri Waller, Xavier James; mother, Elizabeth Waller; siblings, Elizabeth “Pigeon” Hoggany (Erving), Lola Johnson (Joseph), Ella Freeman, Jannie Olds (Gregory), Kanio “Elaine” Moore, Joseph Waller (Wendy), Junius Gregory Jr.; godchildren, Nadia Taylor, Neshika Mitchell, Iesha Johnson; special love, Ernest Harvey; her beloved and always supportive friends, Margie and Dan Roe and a host of other relatives and friends.
