Clifton Baxter Obituary

Clifton Robert Baxter, affectionately known as “Shine”, 73, transitioned from this life on March 25, 2022. He was born on April 29, 1948 in Princess Anne County to the late Clifton Sr. and Margaret “Punk” Baxter.

Shine was educated in the Virginia Beach public school system and graduated from Union Kempsville High School. He served in the US Army, and he was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked as a Service Technician Supervisor at Cox Cable for over 20 years. Shine enjoyed fishing, hunting, and in his spare time he loved to DJ.

Besides his parents, Clifton was predeceased by his ex-wife, Dale E. Baxter.

Shine leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Annetta Baxter, Felicia Baxter, Reshard Wilkins, Natasha Wiggins; eight grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; siblings, Sherry Edwards, Diane Jones, Marjorie Baxter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
