Frederick Britton “Britt” Morris, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, after battling cancer. Britt was born on October 6, 1964 to the late Nathaniel Jr. & Barbara Morris of Norfolk, VA. During his early years, Britt lived in the Lindenwood and Tanners Creek communities of Norfolk. His family moved from Norfolk to Virginia Beach in 1980. In the summer of 1983, Britt met the love of his life, Eugenia “Renee’” Carballo. This August would have marked their 37th year together.

Britt graduated from Bayside High School in 1985 and attended Virginia State University in 1986-1988. After marrying in 1989, Britt and Renee’ moved to Maryland where they lived for 23 years. They relocated back to the Tidewater area in 2014. Britt learned at an early age that he was good at working with his hands. He worked in the home repair and renovation industry years before officially starting his own business, BRC Private Contractors in 2007. BRC is an acronym for Britt (himself), Renee’ (wife), and Craig (friend). Britt enjoyed spending time with his wife and German Shepherd dog, Diamond. They were very special to him.
