Leander Perkins

Leander Perkins, 83, entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2020.

Leander, also known as “Jack”, was born in Norfolk County, Virginia on August 1, 1937 to the late Tomie & Bertha Perkins. He was educated in the Norfolk public school system and later gained employment as a laborer for the City of Norfolk. Leander was a family man who loved spending time with his family. He really enjoyed taking his children to City Park, amusement parks or various carnivals throughout the area.

Besides his parents, Leander was predeceased by his wife, Jessie Perkins and brother-in-law, Samuel Bynum “Sam”.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Lisa Perkins, Tiffany Perkins, Ravyn Perkins; sibling, Lizzetta Mae Bynum; sisters-in-law, Suelle Springs, Joetta Days, and a host of other relatives and friends.
