Marcos Christodonte Sr.

Marcos Christodonte, Sr., 70, entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2020. He was born on August 11, 1949 in Virginia Beach, VA to the late Eddie Sr. & Estelle Anderson.

Marcos was educated in the Virginia Beach public school system and graduated from Union Kempsville High School. In the 70’s, Marcos continued his education and obtained a Master’s Degree in Education in Early Childhood Education from Virginia State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Norfolk State University. Right after he graduated from college, Marcos met the love of his life, Ms. Brenda Gonzalez and later on the two were married.

Marcos absolutely loved the Lord and as a child he attended the Holy Temple Church in Norfolk, VA. Later in life, Marcos became a member of the Rock Church International, Va. Beach, VA under the leadership of Senior Pastors John & Robin Blanchard. He served the church for 26 years and also performed the duties of an Intercessor. Marcos loved basketball, writing books, but most of all he loved his family.

Besides his parents, Marcos was predeceased by one brother, Eddie Anderson, Jr.

Marcos leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife of 41 years, Brenda Christodonte; five children, Christy Louis (Marc), Marisha Fairfax (William), Cassandra McCoy (Raymond Sr.), Marcos Christodonte II (Ruby) and Joell Christodonte; ten grandchildren, Jasiah, Jaslynn & Jeriah Sealy, Tyrik Brown, Carter & Aila Fairfax, Asia & Raymond Jr. McCoy, Khamya & Marcos Christodonte III; one great granddaughter; sisters, Anita Bernard, Frances Eley; brother, Robert “Bob” Anderson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
