Margaret Galotti Obituary

Margaret Anna Galotti, 66, was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday March 20, 2020. Margaret was originally from Madrid, New York but a long time resident of Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia. She was a dedicated employee of Norfolk State University as an Administrative Manager at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center for many years.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents of Madrid, NY, Mary Ellen and Cornelius Trombley. Margaret was a loving partner, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her partner, Jeff Cross of Norfolk, VA, her two children, daughter, Joellen Margaret Quanty of Norfolk, VA and her son Nicholas “Alex” Galotti of Costa Mesa, CA. In addition, Margaret was a proud “Nee-Pop” to her grand-daughters Caidyn Harper Quanty and Savannah Diane Quanty of Norfolk, VA. Margaret leaves behind her many childhood memories and “happy thoughts” to her siblings Theresa Dumas of Norfolk, New York, Elaine Tyndall of Madrid, New York, and William Trombley of Madrid, New York.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends and family can donate to Margaret’s estate for a bench at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens
