Michael Davis Harper

Michael Davis Harper, 72, transitioned from this life on September 12, 2021. He was born on December 26, 1948 in Newark, NJ to the late Daisy Worthy and Frank “Joe” Worthy.

Michael was educated in the Newark public school system. After high school, Michael joined the United States Air Force and he proudly served in the military for 4 years. Michael was a United States Air Force Veteran and a Vietnam Veteran.

Michael was a loyal church goer and was a member of the Metropolitan AME Church. Michael was computer whiz and enjoyed computer programming.

Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by his stepfather, Frank J. Worthy; brother, William Davis; and sister, Joanne S. Worthy.

Michael leaves to cherish his fond memories, his daughter, Aishia Harper; grandchildren, Lilia and Dean; siblings, Jacqueline Johnson (Isaiah) and Gwendolyn Hancock (Tommy); and a host of nieces and nephews.
