Monique Charmaine Harris

Monique Charmaine Harris 40, transitioned from this life unexpectantly on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born on October 19, 1980 to Joyce Burnham and Melvin Harris in Norfolk, Virginia but was raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Monique was a 1998 graduate of Green Run High School, and soon after graduation she entered into her nursing career. She obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant Degree from ECPI and furthered her education by completing her medical billing and coding program with Bryant and Stratton College.

Monique’s hobbies included reading and traveling. Her favorite place to travel to was Florida. She enjoyed the beaches and beautiful weather there. Last but not least, Monique loved her family, they all held a special place in her heart.

Monique is predeceased by her grandparents, Rita Mae Harris, Wilma Harris, Elnora Burnham and Alijah Burnham.

Monique leaves to cherish her memories her children, Isaiah Harris; Sean Grant. Ladajah Harris, Nijhel Harris, Ciara Harris; parents, Joyce Burnham, Melvin Harris; sister, Chrystal Cooke; and a host of other relatives and friends including her Harris and Burnham Family.
