Mother Maurice Daniels, 91, of Norfolk, Virginia peacefully entered into eternal rest and departed to her home in Glory on March 26, 2020.
Maurice was born on August 22, 1928 in Hertford County, North Carolina to the late Willie Daniels and Claudia Hunter. She truly loved the Lord and could always be found praising him in the community and church. Mother Maurice was a faithful member of St. Paul COGIC, Norfolk, Virginia, a Mother on the Mother’s Board and a member of the Prayer Band. She loved to read her bible, crossword puzzles, talking on the phone, watching the news, but most of all, her passion was witnessing and praying for others.
Besides her parents, Mother Maurice was predeceased by her granddaughters, Wynetta J. Daniels, LaTasha White; grandson, Michael Howard; six brothers and two sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Willie Daniels (Linda) of Norfolk, Virginia, Moses Lee Cuffee (Alma) of Honduras, James Cuffee (Marian) of Norfolk, Virginia, Marvin Cuffee (Joyce) of Norfolk, Virginia, Cleve Williams (Deborah) of Norfolk, Virginia, Maybell Salter of Norfolk, Virginia, Lynn Williams of Portsmouth, Virginia, Luther Jenkins of Norfolk, Virginia, Vickie Goodman (Marvin) of Norfolk, Virginia; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; one special grandchild, Brittany Strange; siblings, Lillie Davis of Cofield, North Carolina, Lucille Prince of Emporia, Virginia, and a host of other relatives and friends.
