Pearl Guevara

Pearl Belgrove Guevara, 73, entered into eternal rest on April 14, 2021. She was born on November 20, 1947 to Sheila Phibbs and Harold Belgrove at Siparia General Hospital in Trinidad & Tobago.

After graduating from Gasparillo Government High School, Pearl studied at the Junior College for HHA and became a certified Home Health Attendant. Pearl worked in the Home Health industry for over 20 years. In her free time, Pearl made beautiful costumes for the West Indian Carnival Association. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and really loved ball room dancing.

Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Harold & Sheila Belgrove, and grandmother, Sara Phibbs.

Pearl leaves to cherish her fond memories, her children, Curtis Belgrove, Marcel Guevara, Carol Belgrove, Rachel Medard, Reginald Medard; grandchildren, Kirk, Torrel, Quinn, Gibarrie, Starquasia, Shatasia, Chason, Kenyasia, Irie, Nya, Roquille, Marquille, Ralasia; siblings, Sylvia Menuau, Roslyn O’Cloque, Makha Belgrove, Neil Belgrove and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pearl really impacted the community. She wasn’t just our mother, she was a mother to all. She will forever be in our hearts.
