Rebecca Anne Hicks

Rebecca Anne Hicks, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2020. Rebecca was born on January 17, 1985 to Gail R. Hicks and Margaret E. Hicks at Naval Station Hospital, Newport Rhode Island.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Rebecca aka “Becky”, attended both Newport and Virginia Beach Public Schools. She graduated from Bayside High School in 2003 and completed the Registered Nursing program at ECPI in 2014. She was last employed as a nurse with Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.

Rebecca was an outgoing person that loved spending time with family and friends. Becky’s hobbies included reading, going to the movies, and watching videos. She will be loved, cherished, and missed by us all.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret E. Hicks; and brother, Gail R. Hicks Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her dad, Gail R. Hicks Sr.; four brothers, William R. Hicks, Barry L. Hicks, Terry Edwards, and Marvyn Johnson; one sister, Rhonda M. Johnson, four nephews, Nathaiel, Terry Jr., Tyawndre, and Xavier; nine nieces, Isabella, Lisa, Maria, Terrica, Thea, Tiffany, Zoel, D’Miyah, and Makayla, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
