Ronald Cooper Sr. Obituary

Ronald Cooper, Sr., 57, of Virginia Beach, Virginia transitioned from his earthly home to his new dwelling behind heaven’s gates on November 16, 2020. He was born in Yonkers, New York on July 28, 1963 to Phyllis Criss and the late Charles Daniel.

Ronald was a hard-worker and worked many years with the Yonkers Department of Sanitation. He was also known for his sense of style which lead to him opening his very own black owned clothing store called R&B’s Clothing. He was raised in a Godfearing household at a young age and throughout his life he maintained his spiritual connection with God and could often be found praying. In his spare time, you could find Ronald spending time with his children, especially his granddaughter, Ava who he called Madison.

Ronald loved his dog Jasper, and in his case the statement “a dog is a man’s best friend” is the type of relationship they had. Ronald loved Jasper so much that he became heartbroken when he passed. He loved many things as you can see but we could not leave out his love for making graffiti & designs, you could frequently find him posing in front of his work or others artwork that inspired him. Ronald had a passion for working out as well and adored luxury cars. He was known for riding around in his BMW with his favorite being the 5 Series.

Ronald was predeceased by his father, Charles Daniel and his dog, Jasper.

Ronald leaves to continue his legacy, three children, Ronald Cooper Jr., Ronnette Cooper, Maciah Smith; granddaughter, Ava Joseph; mother, Phyllis Criss; siblings, Theresa Tucker, Alisia Hawkins; many best friends to many to name; and a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
