Shirley A. Worlds

Shirley A. Worlds, 81, of Virginia Beach, Virginia was called home to Glory to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 13, 1938 to the late Edward and Mamie Worlds in Princess Anne County, VA. Shirley worked for the Virginia Beach City School Board for over 29 years. Some of her hobbies included gardening, doing puzzle books, cooking, spending time with family and dancing.

Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her two sisters, Beverly Worlds, and Leathia Muldez; four brothers, Edward Worlds, Robert Worlds, Ronald Worlds, and Earlie Worlds; and son-in law Blair Sawyer.

Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories, two children, Jacqueline Sawyer and Washington (Crystal) of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Cleo Penn of Virginia Beach, Rosie Worlds of Brooklyn NY; two brothers, Curtis Worlds, Roderick Worlds (Claudia); and a host of other relatives and friends.
