Vincent Ricky Moore "Vince", 67, passed away on March 17, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. He was the seventh of nine children born on December 2, 1955 to the late Melvin and Abbie Moore of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Vince graduated from Bayside High School, and later earned an Associate of Arts Degree. He was charismatic, yet easy going, a good listener and a hard worker. His smile was contagious and he spirit was calm. He loved music and the trumpet was his instrument of choice. Vince loved a good movie and good food, especially sweet potato pie. Vincent taught us all how to persevere, the importance of developing excellent coping strategies and how to cherish those we love and love us. Spending time with his family and friends brought him great joy and was one of his favorite pastimes.
Vincent was predeceased by one sister, Dollie Gray.
Vincent leaves to cherish his fond memories, his three children, Shaunte Keller (Michael), Meeshalana Parham, Michael (Carol); three grandchildren, Shaquira Francis, Mayana and Jazmere Keller; one great grandchild, Lamont Brinkley; siblings and their families, Evelyn Spencer, Claradine Cowell (Curtis), Melvin Moore Jr. (Mary), Bettie Moore, Wallace Moore (Diane), Reginald Moore, Gwen Hill (Ron) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Vince will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and acquaintances.
